Who we are
ShopByJLC ("we", "us") provides a profitability-tracking SaaS for retail, production, and hybrid businesses. This policy explains what we do with personal information you give us when you visit our website, contact us, or subscribe.
What we collect
Account information you provide directly: name, email, business name, language preference, and — if you subscribe — billing details handled by our payment processors.
Usage data: pages visited, basic device and browser info, and rough geographic region derived from your IP. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Business KPIs you choose to enter or connect: revenue, costs, and the categories you set up. This data is yours.
How we use it
To provide the service: rendering your dashboard, sending account emails, processing subscriptions, and supporting you when you reach out.
To improve the product: aggregated, anonymized analytics on which features are used.
To meet legal obligations: invoicing, tax records, fraud prevention.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of subprocessors strictly to operate the service: Stripe (card payments), Campay (mobile money in Cameroon), Convex (database), Resend (transactional email), and Anthropic (AI coach). Each is contractually bound to handle your data only to provide their service to us.
We never sell your data, and we never share it for advertising purposes.
Your rights
If you are in the EU, UK, or Switzerland, GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain uses. Other jurisdictions grant similar rights.

Retention
We keep account data while your account is active, and for up to 12 months after closure to handle billing and legal questions. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days.
